This stunning Loetz Vase (Ausführung 237) is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau design. Crafted in Czechoslovakia around 1925, it features a luminous jade‑green foundation.

The piece showcases a vibrant marbleized color overlay. Under UV light, this Uranium Glass Vase glows brilliantly, highlighting dynamic streaking and organic movement.

Loetz, founded in Bohemia around 1850, was one of Europe’s most celebrated art‑glass producers. They are known for richly colored glass with metallic iridescence.

Their work is often compared to Louis Comfort Tiffany. The company collaborated with Wiener Werkstätte designers like Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser.

These designers helped shape the direction of modernist glass design. Peak production occurred around 1900, making later pieces quite special.

The upheaval of World War I and later political changes in Czechoslovakia led to the company’s closure. This makes the 1920s era highly collectible.
